Environmental and Sustainability Policy 

1. Introduction and Purpose 

Successful Consulting Ltd is committed to promoting environmental sustainability and social responsibility.  This Sustainability Policy outlines our commitment to minimising our environmental impact, fostering  responsible business practices, and contributing positively to our local community and the broader  environment. 

2. Environmental Commitment 

a. Resource Management: We strive to minimise our consumption of natural resources, such as water and  energy, by implementing efficient usage practices and investing in energy-saving technologies. Our base  office harnesses solar power through renewable energy. 

b. Waste Reduction: We are dedicated to reducing waste generation and promoting recycling and proper  waste disposal. We provide all training materials electronically, except when paper copies are requested by  clients, and use recycled materials wherever possible. 

c. Eco-Friendly Procurement: We prioritise the procurement of products and materials that have minimal  environmental impact. This includes selecting suppliers that adhere to sustainable sourcing practices and  offer environmentally friendly alternatives. 

3. Carbon Footprint Reduction 

a. Energy Efficiency: We commit to reducing our carbon footprint by improving energy efficiency in our  operations. This involves identifying areas for improvement, adopting energy-efficient technologies, and  encouraging staff to practice energy conservation. 

b. Transportation: We adopt sustainable transportation options wherever possible.  

• We replace long distance travel wherever practical with virtual delivery 

• We replace car journeys with train journeys where practicable 

c. Carbon Offset: We have been off setting our carbon footprint for the last 6 years. In total we have  reduced out carbon footprint by 85% over the last 3 years. 

4. Community, Client and Contractor Engagement 

a. Local Community Support: We actively engage with our local community to understand their needs and  concerns. We do this by volunteering for local professional membership groups, mentoring local HR  professionals and collaborating with local organizations. 

b. Supplier Diversity: We strive to support local businesses and suppliers whenever possible. By doing so,  we contribute to the economic growth of our community and reduce the carbon footprint associated with  transportation. 

c. Contractors & subcontractors: We ensure contractors and sub-contractors are aware of our  Sustainability Policy and are committed to implementing it.

d. Clients: We work virtually with clients by default for all meetings and coaching/training sessions unless in  person sessions are specifically requested. We possible these are co-ordinated with other client  commitments to minimise travel. 

5. Compliance and Reporting 

a. Legal Compliance: We will adhere to all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and standards in the UK.  Our operations will align with the requirements outlined by governing bodies and authorities. 

b. Monitoring and Reporting: We monitor our sustainability and environmental impact annually, and make  reports available on request. 

6. Continuous Improvement 

a. Review and Adaptation: We regularly review and update our sustainability policy to reflect changes in our  business, technology, and best practices. This ensures that our efforts remain relevant and effective. 

By implementing this Sustainability Policy, Successful Consulting Ltd T/A Successful Training aims to  demonstrate our commitment to the well-being of the environment and our local community.  

This policy is effective from 31st December 2022 and will be reviewed annually to ensure its relevance and  effectiveness.
